PUBLIC MEETING AND FILM SCREENING WITH COMMENTARY
The highlight of Prof. Raquel’s return and stay in Capelinhos took place on the afternoon of Saturday, October 2, with a public gathering and conversation between Prof. Raquel and the island’s residents on the roof of the Casa da Missão cistern, where her film *Erupção dos Capelinhos* was screened and discussed by the filmmaker herself.
Professor Raquel’s return to and stay in Capelinhos was marked by a series of exhibitions featuring her photographic collection, displayed at the Casa de Artesanato do Capelo and the Galeria Camarupa in Horta. At the Casa da Missão, several video installations created by Gonçalo Tocha, documenting Prof. Raquel’s return to Capelinhos, were on view to the public for a month.
